Event: Planned Protest March in Kinshasa
Pleased be advised, there are reports of a planned protest march starting at several different locations in Kinshasa this morning (July 9) and convening at the People’s Palace (Palais du Peuple) located on Boulevard Triomphal. Starting points of the march may include the Limete Interchange Tower (Échangeur de Limete) on Boulevard Lumumba, Kintambo Magasin, and other locations.
Actions to Take:
- Avoid the People’s Palace area
- If currently in those areas, depart if safe to do so, or stay indoors.
