The government of the DRC may impose a period of confinement in Kinshasa that will last for 14 days with no days for shopping or leaving residences.  All U.S. citizens in DRC should continue to prepare by ensuring they have sufficient food, medicine, and supplies should they need to remain at home in DRC for an extended period of time.

The government of the DRC has declared a State of Emergency effective March 24 to limit the spread of COVID-19.  All domestic passenger flights between Kinshasa and the provinces are suspended.
