On June 7, Ambassador Robert Whitehead spoke at The American School of Kinshasa, where 21 students graduated. Emphasizing that TASOK is committed to hone real world skills of its student through events such as the TED conference and exercises that provide an opportunity to highlight individual leadership skills, Ambassador Whitehead underscored the importance of strong leadership. “As you go forward, keep your focus not on achievements to impress other people, but rather upon pushing yourself to be the best you can be,” he stated. Ambassador Whitehead also called the graduates to carry with them the values gleaned from their education at The American School of Kinshasa.
The American School of Kinshasa has provided a quality academic international education for students from kindergarten through grade 12 since 1961.
